This year, we have four fantastic keynote speakers:
1. Dr. Rose Maciewicz, Vice-President of Strategy Respiratory and Inflammation iMed and Chief Scientist, AstraZeneca and Honorary Professor University of Glasgow and University of Manchester
2. Prof. Steve Jones, Emeritus Professor of Genetics at University College London, award-winning author of several popular science books, and world-leading expert on snails.
3. Prof. Hans Clevers, Director of Research of the Princess Maxima Center for Pediatric Oncology, Director of the Hubrecht Institute and world-leading researcher on stem cells, organoids and regenerative medicine.
4. Dr. Cathy Sorbara, the Chief Operations Officer of Cheeky Scientist, a training platform for academics who want to transition into industry.
Hugh Kearns, an internationally renowned public speaker and author specialising in positive psychology and researcher productivity, and lecturer and researcher at Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia, will discuss Imposter Syndrome.
The programme for the day will also include an expert panel discussion on how Brexit might affect science in the UK and Europe, plus talks and posters from Cambridge students.
